Breanne is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. Breanne dedicates her practice primarily to general litigation, creditor’s rights, and collections matters. Prior to joining SS+D, Breanne gained several years of litigation experience defending physicians, nurses, hospitals, nursing homes, and lawyers in professional negligence cases. A former nationally ranked competitive figure skater, Breanne is driven, competitive, and results-oriented. She is attentive to her clients’ goals and recognizes the importance of straight-forward communication in understandable terms.
In addition to her work at SS+D, Breanne is actively involved in the Dayton community. A graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law, Breanne continues to devote time to her alma mater by serving on the University of Dayton School of Law Alumni Board of Trustees. Breanne also has taught at the law school as an Adjunct Professor.
Breanne has served as a “Big Sister” as well as an Associate Board Member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Miami Valley, which serves to develop positive relationships and instill greater confidence in young, underprivileged students. In 2016, Breanne joined “Friends of CARE House,” a volunteer leadership group driven by their passion for serving abused and neglected children in Montgomery County.
Breanne and her husband, Tom, met in law school and married in 2011. They value time spent with their three children, Carly, James, and Thomas, and their dog, Rudy. In her spare time, Breanne enjoys figure skating, golfing, gardening, traveling, and cooking. Breanne is an avid Dayton Flyers basketball fan.
