Matthew is an associate in the Litigation Department. His practice primarily focuses on business and commercial litigation and labor and employment law.
Matthew received his B.A. in East Asian Studies with a Chinese concentration from Miami University in 2009. While at Miami University, Matthew was a founding member and president of Sigma Alpha Pi, the National Society of Leadership and Success for the Miami Chapter.
After attending Miami University, Matthew made the short trip across the Miami Valley and attended the University of Dayton School of Law where he received his J.D. in 2012. At the University of Dayton, Matthew was an active member of Honor Council. He received two academic scholarships and the Pro Bono Commitment to Community Award. Matthew also was an extern to Judge Walter H. Rice at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
After graduating from law school, Matthew served as a Staff Attorney to Judge Michael W. Krumholtz at the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. Matthew was admitted to the Ohio bar in 2012. He is an active member of the Dayton Bar Association through the Young Lawyers Division and enjoys giving his free time back to the Dayton community. He also serves as a member of the University of Dayton School of Law Alumni Board.
Matthew is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
