After completing his undergraduate studies, he enrolled in the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in 2010. While in law school, he was an associate member of the Immigration and Nationality Law Review, and served as the Skills Director on the Moot Court Honor Board, for which he was awarded the Order of Barristers for “demonstrating leadership, developing exceptional skills in oral and written advocacy, and making significant contributions to all aspects of the Moot Court Honor Board.” He spent his second year in law school as a fellow in the Ohio Innocence Project/Rosenthal Institute for Justice, where he worked to free wrongly-incarcerated inmates through new advances in DNA testing. He also gained practical legal experience working with the Ohio Civil Rights Commission and the Ohio Attorney General’s office.
Nick was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2010. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Dayton Bar Association. He is proud to be a member of the Dayton legal community, and is grateful to have already had the opportunity to serve the public through the Greater Dayton Volunteer Lawyer’s Project. When not working, he loves being outdoors, playing golf and softball, cooking, and spending time with his family.
