Learning Objectives
1. Identify the most important recent developments in employment law of concern to human resources professionals.
2. Review and analyze the emerging trends in employment law and speaker predictions for the upcoming year.
3. Identify practical changes/strategies and best practices to respond and in some cases anticipate these developments and trends, including recommended policy and procedure updates.

Session Description:
The seminar will cover some of the key recent developments in employment law for 2015, and review trends with a view toward predicting changes in the next year. The program will be designed to provide essential information for Human Resources professionals, and discuss practical strategies to respond to the changing legal environment.

Speaker Bio:
Karl received his law degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is founder and head of the Labor & Employment Practice Group at Sebaly Shillito + Dyer focusing primarily on counseling management clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters. Karl is an Ohio State Bar Association Board Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law. He is also a member of the Dayton and the American (member, Labor and Employment Law Committee) Bar Associations and the Missouri Bar and admitted to practice in numerous federal courts across the country.
