Our attorneys have extensive experience representing clients in the areas of hardware acquisition, development, maintenance, and support, software development, privacy, data security, protection, licensing, and sublicensing, and value-added reseller (VAR), OEM, wholesaler, dealer, distribution, and source code escrow agreements.
We have extensive experience in computer, technology, telecommunication, and Internet issues. Our services include representation in all aspects of computer and telecommunication hardware acquisitions; software licensing, development, and maintenance agreements; Internet, EDI, and electronic mail issues; and multimedia and intellectual property issues. We also draft confidentiality agreements, licenses, covenants not to compete, and other contracts to minimize the opportunities for conflict between clients and their employees, vendors, and customers who need to use or obtain access to trade secrets, patents, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights. We have extensive experience representing clients in matters involving the enforcement of, and defense against, contractual provisions relating to non-competition, confidentiality, and the protection of trade secrets and other intellectual property. The firm also litigates a variety of common law and statutory intellectual property matters, including federal trademark, copyright, and patent actions. We work closely with our client’s patent counsel when appropriate.
